The Saudi Students Society at Curtin University is composed of Saudi students studying at Curtin's Bentley campus. The purpose of forming the society is to create a vibrant Saudi community that connects students, the university, and the Australian society.
Vision
To be a bridge that enhances cultural and social communication between Saudi students and the university community, while representing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the best possible manner within the academic and cultural environment.
Mission
To support Saudi students at Curtin University by organizing educational, cultural, and social activities, and to foster collaboration and interaction between Saudi students and the international student body, thereby enhancing mutual understanding of Saudi culture and values in a multicultural environment.
Goals and Activities:
• Supporting and Serving Saudi Students: The society aims to support and serve new and current Saudi students at Curtin University by fostering collaboration and communication among them.
• Enhancing Academic and Social Relationships: The society focuses on strengthening friendships with the academic and student community within Curtin University.
• Organizing Diverse Activities: The society is committed to organizing and sponsoring educational, social, entertainment, international, and sports activities.
• Welcoming New Students: The society welcomes new students at the beginning of each academic year to introduce them to the campus and strengthen their relationship with the university.
• Participating in Events and Conferences: The society participates in global events and conferences organized by the university and welcomes collaboration with other associations and clubs at Curtin for joint events.
• Continuous Support: The society offers support to students both during and outside official working hours, helping to create a comfortable and supportive environment for Saudi and international students.
